17th Century Pornography
In the 17th century, there was only one new breakthrough of pornographic material, L'École des filles. The book originated in France but was then smuggled into other european countries. The book was a diary of the lifestyles and conversations of two women prostitutes. After Pietro Aretino's painting, Regionamenti, which portrayed a prostitute talking to young men, women became open about their sexuality and starting making it a lifestyle.
