gonzo: style of pornographic film that attempts to place the viewer directly into the scene.
CNN took the time out of the day to discuss the negative effects that internet pornography has of male sexuality. Gail Dines, the writer of the novel, Pornland: How Porn Has Hijacked Our Sexuality was interviewed on air about how pornography changes how males view females sexually. The problems with porn is that it is becoming more graphic and gets the viewer closer to the ‘action’. The porn industry is going to far and is being very cruel to the female body. The average age that the male sex is viewing porn is 11. With young kids viewing these videos they aren’t learning that sex should be intimate, and for a certain person you love. Also, the first image of porn is what the young boys are going to view as ‘normal’ sexual experiences.
This is a very useful source and tells facts about how modern porn is deteriorating the males’ minds and how they see sex. The information is very reliable coming from a professor of sociology and women's studies at Wheelock College. She knows and understands how women feel about this sort of topic. They feel like they have been betrayed and cheated on when their husband or boyfriend watches pornography.
The information coming from this article is going to fit in perfectly with the history of porn aspect that I am researching. I have already looked through the history and what pornography was considered way back in the 16th century. The transformation that has occurred is vast and very disturbing. I will use the information to compare and contrast how pornography changed men’s minds and emotions about sex and how the visualize their sexual experience with their partners.

This website compiles a whole bunch of information from many different sources. to make a really informational website. Modern pornography began in Rome with the print culture of the Italian Renaissance. In the early 16th century and artist by the name of, Marcantonio Raimandi, published 16 of Guilio Ramano’s sexually explicit engravings. The figures in the engravings were shown enjoying the pleasures of sexual intercourse. The Italian author, polemicist and satirist, Pietro Aretino, produced two pornographic masterpeices. They were the Sonetti Lussuriosi (1527) and Regionamenti (1536).
This source has a lot of information on the past centuries in which pornography occurred. Pornography just started in art (paintings and sculptures) in the early 16th century. This site explains what pornography meant to each century leading up to today. Not only does it give information about past centuries of porn, but it talks about porn in magazine, movies and how easy it is to obtain porn.
I will use this website quite a bit to give information about pornography in the past. I can make different pages on the website for each century of porn. A timeline of porn can be a good visual of how modern pornography came to be, and how much porn there is in our society.

I can use this source to piggy-back onto my other source that gives examples of pornography throughout the history. This new site gives the readers an understanding of where porn came from and how it has evolved. It also gives an aspect of where porn is heading is not the direction that historians thought it would be.

The information on this website is tough to summarize because all of it is really brief. Even with it being brief, it has a lot of accurate dates of when certain porn events were established.
The website may not be 100% credible but if it is, it could be extremely helpful to me when I focus on modern porn when we build the website
If accurate, I could really use the website as the foundation to when I focus on what modern pornography has become. With this site giving so many dates and events, I can focus on those and really go into depth on what modern pornography is.I can build a separate tab on the webpage for the 19th century/modern pornography to educate our audience on what they would see if they were to access porn on the internet.
